Game is good, you can decide if it's worth a buy based on the other reviews, but I am writing this one purely to vent about Cynthia. There was literally 0 reason whatsoever to give this game a snarky AI side character who talks like the most annoying woman I have ever met. Completely annihilates the game's tone, particularly in the intro. The intro used to be so tense because you woke up to total silence and had to creep around the halls with almost no information on what to do besides hint popups. Now it's completely ruined by her yapping in your ear with enemy callouts and torturously unfunny quips. I'd genuinely rewrite this review to positive if they added the option for me to rip her AI cube out of my ship computer and chuck it into space. I mean that genuinely, on the off chance the devs are reading this.22 found this helpful

Things to take note if you are going to purchase Ripout. Cons *Game was abandoned by the devs *It is designed for coop play but it's a dead game. You can play it solo, but you die very easily to a lot of enemies, and you can only rez once (if you have a token). Best bet is to find some friends to purchase the game as well. *Each session the map is randomly generated, but quite quickly you notice the same patterns to the maps. * Very limited enemies. * Loot is atrocious. * Too many timed missions, why? * Gunplay isn't fun, nor are there very many guns. Pros * Ripout has a gruesome and grotesque atmosphere, this is one of the best parts of the game. * "Cute" little pets that you use as attachments to yourself or the enemies. Some deal damage, some give shields, health etc. This is probably the most unique and interesting part of Ripout. * It's sort of a extraction shooter, but for materials and schematics. That means take your time and look around, you might miss something if you don't. * Guns & Armor are upgradeable. Ripout certainly had some cool ideas, but considering it's abandoned those ideas weren't good enough. I'd probably skip this game unless you find some friends t…3 found this helpful
A great game it feels reminiscent of games like the original doom in its game mechanics and has a great art style I am excited to see how this game grows and would highly recommend this game if you have even a minor interest1 found this helpful
DO NOT BUY. DEMO WITH A 20$ PRICE TAG. It's a game that was left in it's alpha state, it's underdeveloped and has very little going on. The written concept of it is cool but there's no reason to purchase it. I hope the developers at least learned something from making this. 2/10
