Rock Crusher

Good incremental game.

This should be a version 0.7 to 0.8 early access game, not a full release. The gameplay and upgrades are simple: mouse over rocks, crush rocks, blow rocks to the edge of the screen, repeat. I enjoyed the first three or four hours, but after that I hit a wall and it turned into a massive grind. It's tagged as an idler, and it isn't one, at least not as far as I got into the game. The story elements are a nice touch, delivered through a collection of logs, which provides a bit of intrigue and interest. What tipped me to not recommending it: the developer has left placeholder elements in for "special crushers" that aren't in the game yet, and still shipped this as a full release rather than early access. On top of that, they've put out a new game while this one is still missing pieces. That doesn't inspire much confidence that the gaps will ever get filled.

Rock get crushed. Rock give money. Money buy upgrade. Upgrade make crush rock faster. Happy.

7 hours no real complaints. It's a carbon copy of Nodebuster so skip if you played that.

Fun, short, and nicely tuned/balanced.
