Rotting Valentine is a dark, gothic action slasher set in a decaying vision of Victorian England — a land abandoned by God and overrun by rot, heresy, and the restless dead.
You play as a wandering alchemist vigilante, an unholy executioner of the unnatural. Armed with a cursed scythe and a custom firearm, she travels through plague-ridden streets, forgotten villages, and desecrated cathedrals, driven by a purpose known only to herself.
Fast, aggressive slasher combat lies at the heart of Rotting Valentine. Master fluid melee with the scythe, combine it with precise gunplay, and tear through hordes of zombies, vampires, and twisted abominations.Both weapons can be upgraded independently, each offering distinct progression paths and unique perks, allowing you to shape your own combat style — whether through relentless close-range carnage or calculated, deadly precision.
This world breathes decay. Gothic architecture, moonlit graveyards, and blood-soaked streets tell the story of a civilization long past salvation. Every enemy, every location, is steeped in death and forbidden knowledge.
Beyond violence, Rotting Valentine explores desire in a dying world.The game features optional, fully mutual adult scenes with certain NPCs and defeated bosses. These moments are never mandatory, always initiated by the player, and exist as narrative extensions rather than rewards forced upon the experience.

Its so weird to me. How does this game have such good reviews. Now I will recommend it because I do think the game could be ok with some improvement and the graphics are decent, plus its only $5. You guys bash every game then this game somehow gets 60 to 70% positive reviews when the game is very limited and basic. Its also not even a Prerelease, so this is the game. Yes I only played for 20 minutes, but game mechanics just feel bad. If you liked it for the Adult aspect, why, thought it was super weird. Overall, the game seems like it was made by a group of horny 10th graders. Not really fun, interesting, or entertaining enough for me. I actually changed my mind. I can't recommend this and I recommend mostly all games I play.4 found this helpful

WE HAVE BLOOD BORN AT HOME, very clumsy game and very short, overhall not very good but i did like the vibe
Bugged beyond playable. First launch was stuck on the start screen. Had to Alt+F4 Second launch got into game, first NPC T-Posing, and the second NPC's text got stuck on screen. No ESC menu so Alt+F4d again Third launch, game didnt even save so as soon as I saw I had to sit through the intro again and couldn't skip it, I just alt-F4d before I even found if the NPC would still be bugged. Mouse feels weird. Animations are atrocious. Not even an options menu. Launch commands don't work. I've played alphas that were less broken and more complete than this.
