About Seed of Heroes
About This Game
Seed of Heroes is a bullet heaven game where players take on the role of warriors seeking glorious battles and get to the halls of Valhalla. Journey through various realms, take on hordes of enemies, collect treasures, and defeat bosses that will try to stop you. Pass the trials and tribulations, and prepare for the Ragnarok.

Key Features
- Roguelite progression, unlock more heroes, treasures, and more
- Create a party of heroes where each of them has unique attacks and leadership abilities. Choose one that either best matches your situation or just to your liking! Remember, only the leader can be hit!
- Grid-based. Bosses’ attacks, unique encounters, and special treasures function mostly on the grid stage and players will face specially crafted attack patterns where they can learn to dodge even in the chaos of a bullet heaven game.
- Adjustable formation. Players can adjust their party’s formation to best fit the situation they find themselves in, as well as aim all their members’ attack to a single point to help them get out of a mess.

Bought this in August '25. I hoped it will get patched because it showed some potential. But nothing happened since then, game still feels raw and unfinished, controls are clunky, menus/UIX are awful. Game needs polish, right now there is no recommendation as you won't have fun fighting with the controls instead of fighthing with the enemies.
Game had potential, but its a solved game thats almost needlessly grindy and they have abandoned it. If this game was cheaper, like Megabonk, then it could recommend it, but it was clearly just throw together and i guess they couldn't find motivation to continue since it didnt go viral. Just go play Megabonk instead.
the game is fun but for some reason it runs incredibly bad when i enter ragnarok (drops to 10 fps) even when i turn off effects and opacity. meanwhile other more demanding games i can easily run 60-120 fps game needs optimization badly
The game is fine at difficulty 1, but other than this difficulty the scaling at 2+ does not make sense and makes the game unplayable at all. Would not recommend if you're looking at vampire survivor clone. The game scaling is so bad it seem like the developer did not even put much thought into it nor tested it. And just randomly slap and double numbers for no reason since they don't even know about basic game level design on the difficulty scaling.

I'm leaning toward negative for this one. 1- Bad scaling of monsters: from the first trash mob. 3~4 hits to kill 1 small monster? 2- Impossible boss scaling for first time or even 10th time play-through. 5x hp > 10x HP? > 20x HP?! 3- Aiming hits: you need to be 90% accurate in your aiming, and for bosses you need to predict-aim where they would go as the hit at the tip of the animation? feels like the slice animation isn't a hit-box as a whole. 4- No Auto-aim function (maybe I've missed it?). 5- Monsters hits you from further of what you would perceive from "melee" monsters, and with almost none-existent animation. 6- Bosses run around you while your movement speed stays the same. Very frustrating. 7- Getting knocked back with each enemy tough or hit, where sometimes you can get boxes easily and die. 8- With #7 in mind, at 8 min mark or so, game decides to be small arena as if its 1vs1 battle-royal and pushes waves of monsters, making it nearly impossible to escape. 9- Can spawn multiple bosses if you aren't quick enough finishing them off. So it's time based with disregards if you're already engaged with one. Not a fan (personal opinion). Cool art-style and music but game-play ne…
