About She Sees Red - Interactive Movie

✦ AI summary

Investigate a brutal nightclub murder as a detective uncovering twisted secrets where nothing is what it seems, with your choices shaping the narrative toward one of four distinct endings. This cinematic interactive thriller features professional actors and production values, letting you experience the killer's perspective through a gripping non-linear story with English dubbing or original Russian audio.

Someone has killed several people at a popular nightclub. A lone detective has been assigned to the case, following every clue … wherever it may lead. In this provocative interactive thriller, NOTHING is as it seems!

Make choices. Affect change. Experience multiple endings and inhabit the mind of a killer in She Sees Red.
  • Gripping, mature non-linear narrative.
  • Story elements can be experienced by making meaningful choices along the way.
  • Four possible endings!
  • Professional actors, editing, lighting, and sound design.

NOTE!

The game contains two audio tracks: original Russian and dubbed English.

Lip-synching in the dubbed version might not be perfect due to the nature of speech patterns in the original language. If you are not satisfied with the dubbed version, you can always switch to the original Russian version with subtitles (different languages available).

Полностью понял сюжет только после прохождения на сто процентов. Единственный минус это длина, маловато.

I really liked this FMV. It was an interactive movie/thriller with a lot of action, split into two timelines: a past timeline where you play as a killer and a present timeline where you play as a detective. Choices add a lot of replayability and some of them add extra lore. The story kept me engaged until the end and I ended up watching every scene for 100% completion. English dubbing sounds quite emotionless, I wish they could've done better... Skippable scenes are a plus (some of the FMVs don't even have that) but adding a choice tree would be better for tracking every scene. Without one I had to figure out (by checking a guide) which specific scenes I missed to get the last achievement. The game can be completed under 4 hours with a guide, if you're willing to get all achievements one play through is about 30mins long, (it'll be shorter once you have an ability to skip some scenes) Performance: The game ran mostly smoothly on my M4 Macbook Air, with occasional drops into mid 20s (1% lows) even on low resolution. For an FMV you'd expect it to run on a potato :D, but overall it's playable. I would recommend this game if you're into action-mystery FMVs like The Shapeshifting De…

so i played it in russian voice with Eng Sub.. tbh it cant really be considered a game cuz there is barely any 'gameplay' its just a movie with 4 endings that we have to play 4 times to get the whole story.. the acting and visuals are great , immersive enough. but its confusing by design ig. check it out if its on sale, not a waste of time.. quite simple yet interesting story

This was a fair experience, I played with my friends in call and while the choices are badly worded at moments (likely due to the developers being based in Kazakhstan) they often do carry great consequences. I played through the game twice, which did not take long, and got two very different endings. I think it was a good experience, however it's biggest slight is the fact that it is very, very short. A single playthrough takes around thirty minutes and does not have much replayability value unless you want more lore.

*She Sees Red* is a very short interactive movie game, but it has a clear and strong atmosphere. It is not the kind of game that builds a huge world or slowly develops every character. It feels more like a dark, bloody, fast-paced crime film. The story begins with a murder inside a nightclub, and from that moment on, everything is covered by violence, secrets, lies and red light. The most interesting part of the game is that you are not only watching the detective investigate the case. Sometimes you are also pushed into the killer’s side of the story. You make choices, hide traces, change the situation, and decide how some scenes will continue. You are both close to the truth and part of the darkness that creates it. That idea is what makes the game attractive. The atmosphere is probably the best thing about *She Sees Red*. The nightclub feels dirty, dangerous and closed off from the outside world. The dim lights, the blood, the cold conversations and the criminal background all make the game feel tense. Nobody in this story feels completely innocent. Everyone seems to be carrying desire, fear, guilt or violence. The red color is not just a visual style; it feels like the …
