It's amazing to finally have an entry in the Memories Off series in English, this is certainly worth reading. It's not the best VN out there, and suffers from slow pacing, but it's got a solid mystery and good characters, Chihaya route is the standout3 found this helpful
TL;DR Mixed feelings about the game. Great visuals, soundtrack and voice acting that are let down by long-winded writing, uneven attention to routes and mistakes in translation. I would still recommend it, just; for a lower price in the future. Take note that this is a spin-off in the series and that it's focused more on it's mystery plot than a thorough exploration of relationships. In more detail: It was certainly brave to choose this game as the first translated Memories Off game. But since it's story is standalone and it's the most recent release for modern platforms, I guess it makes some sense to choose it. I was going into it open-minded, considering it's a spin-off. I will try to keep this spoiler-free. Things I didn't like: - Routes and their purpose. I think that only 2 (you could argue that maybe 3) routes do anything for the characters to solve their dilemmas or push main story. Other ones you could omit and you wouldn't really miss out on much. - Writing often felt very wearisome, over-explaining something that characters already talked about in length. It also doesn't help that a lot of it gets repeated in other routes; and it would be fine that actually helped wi…3 found this helpful
I love visual novels. I also love beautiful girls. With those as a background, I put my interest on this game—SINce Memories—immediately when I found it on VN discussions. I know this is a revitalization of a used-to-be-popular franchise, and I want to read the OGs, but sadly those has yet to be translated. My Japanese is not proficient enough too. Don't be worry though, as far as I read, this VN is enjoyable. Comfy, even. The UI/UX is just so crazy with its minimalistic design and clean sound effects. Takeshi ♥♥♥ did a great job as always for conveying the themes in a nice ambience. Those and the mystery part of the story keep me want to see where Junya's (the protagonist of this VN) destiny lead to. So, I hope I could read the next entry of this franchise.

things get wild when a random girl acuses you of murdering you dead brother huh very solid vn that apparently is a reboot spinoff to memories off series and its a solid one i do wish i have context on the previous one but just like trails its now a if they wanna bring it over to the west i do like almost all the routes (two of them are essentailly the same with a bit a modified depending on choice) and the characters and art is really good and my definition of what a vn is like do beware its starts slow until you get into the heroine's routes, i do like the banters with each other but could be read alone if wanted too so no worries about play order hopefully its nice
