Game is not fully functional on the steam deck as the cutscenes do not play. The audio of cutscenes plays as do the subtitles but the video is just a static multi-colored TV test image. Edit: I should note we've tried multiple versions of Proton with no luck.3 found this helpful
The game starts off well enough, but it doesn't take long for things to start turning bad. Combat is a slog, platforming is awkward, terrain jank in many places, several of the puzzle dungeons are incredibly poorly implemented. Ultimately, it's just not fun. I tried to go for 100% despite this since you can adjust several difficulty factors, but that doesn't help with some of the worst problems. Cute it is, fun it is not.2 found this helpful
Some games grab you, other games don't....and then there are some that just feel meh? On paper (and gameplay footage) this looked like a lot of fun. Execution just...fell flat. I don't even really know what or why, it just felt "Meh" to me. I didn't even play it for a half hour. Multiplayer was also disappointing - I was expecting to start over with my girlfriend before I got "too far" into the game, and it just picked up where I left off instead. No option to start over. That was disappointing and she quickly grew disinterested because she had no idea what was going on. This is not a "jump in at any time" kind of game. Seems there are some good ideas here, but the execution is just....meh.1 found this helpful

My boyfriend gifted me Slime Heroes, and I've mostly played it with him. We've been trying hard to beat it. On a challenge level - I'd say it's the right amount of challenging. On a cuteness level - very, very cute. On a fun level - definitely enjoyed myself. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would gladly give the game a solid 7. I highly recommend it.1 found this helpful
Sadly this game is right up my alley in the cute and charm but its just not fun in online coop lots of bugs extremely unreliable if your latency with your friend isnt perfect all the time and also the game has no borderless mode and does not have my resolution there for some reason ? So it was all buggy n weird when minimizing also i cant believe on a 4080 i dropped performance on this
