About Slime's Revenge

Slime's have always been the bottom of the gaming food chain. They are farmed by low level 'heroes' for XP until they level up and move on like nothing happened, all the while the slimes are defenceless. But that is about to change. Slime's revenge is a short but challenging 2D platformer where you, using the limited abilities a slime has, can traverse through trap-filled kingdoms and fight back against the 'heroes' who once disregarded the slimes. Fling yourself and stick to near any surface to get around and reach the end of each level.
  • 50 levels of increasing difficulty
  • 5 worlds, each introducing new gameplay mechanics
  • Optional slime coins in each level as an extra challenge for completionists
  • 10 unlockable hats
  • Non-traditional platforming gameplay allowing you to stick to and jump from any surface to reach your goal
  • Retro pixel art and cutscenes
  • A thrilling story of slimy revenge
  • 5 exciting boss levels against the members of the 'fearsome five'
  • A high-energy chiptune soundtrack

Enjoying this one so much! Fun, frustrating, easy to control, well set up levels and a nice price...everything a platformer should be! Watching for more games from this company :D

This game is short, sweet, and to the point. The controls are simple (just click on the slime and drag the mouse opposite of your destination) but it gets plenty of mileage and challenge out of it. Every new region introduces a new gimmick that makes the gameplay refreshing like the bat that dashes towards you from one end screen to the other or the disappearing platforms which require to to make a leap of faith to the bubbles that allow you to jump in all directions. However, one thing I have to say is a bit disappointing are the boss fights which are a bit too easy and don't take full advantage of the obstacles in creative ways, but there are a couple of hard-to-beat levels which were fun to overcome. I like the premise of this game where instead of being this valiant adventurer starting off your journey slaying slimes, you assume the role of the slime taking revenge on these belligerent players who care not for the suffering of the slimes. It is a fun premise for a simple game. I say give this a try if you are interested, and make sure to change your slime's hat while you are at it.

Fun little game that I took about 2 hrs for me to 100% complete. Its simple but it scratched the same itch as other precision platformers for me, of course with unique movement. There's one level almost 80% of the way through the game that was the hardest for me. The difficulty doesn't always go up evenly but that's to be expected for these kind of solo dev games

A game about a slime who has had enough of the hero establishment harvesting their friends, family and themselves for petty aristocratic gains, who themselves has been failed by an inadequate feudal system unable to protect them. You navigate through a system that's seemingly designed to be hazardous to you and other forms of life, no-one knows why there are spikes all over the human's home or other seeming inefficiencies in their system but those questions must be asked later as you escape them. Even with their positions of privilege the guards seem absolutely undertrained and ill-prepared to deal with even a mild rebellion from a lone 'terrorist' actor, most likely suffering from PTSD themselves. The game is a brutal facsimile of modern and historic life.

A short precision game where you fling a slime. You take the role of a common slime who vows revenge after the five heroes slayed the slime king for those sweet experience points. The slime doesn’t have any special abilities, but it’s still determined to get the job done. The story is tied together with nice images. You only need a mouse to play the game. The controls are simple and function as expected; simply click and pull to release the slime. An arrow appears to make things easier because it indicates the direction and strength of your jump. The more you pull back, the more the slime travels. The main mechanic is that the slime can attach to any surface, with the exception of certain surfaces. The game takes place across five worlds, each with ten stages. The objective of each stage is to overcome obstacles and jump into a knight that awaits at the end. Classic traps such as arrows, lava pits, spikes, and other obstacles stand in your way. The slime is so weak that a single hit will destroy it. Because stages are short, respawning at the beginning after each death is not a major concern. The last stage in each world is a bit different. The goal in this one is to save slim…

Really fun and challenging platformer with a unique mechanic! Really cheap too! Very much worth a play with nice art and interesting levels.
