About Slimekeep
Slimekeep is a fast paced action roguelike with a heavy emphasis on decision making and player freedom. Adventure through procedurally generated levels, in a quest to stop the spread of corruption created by the Slime King. You'll have the choice to fight or capture slimes, visit the Slime King's lair, or hold off another day, and so much more. Think Enter the Gungeon meets Slime Rancher, with additional unique mechanics, and elements.
- Unique Combat:
- Slime Pet:
- Bosses:
- GREEN (but don't worry the graphics are customizable!)

It is a great indie action roguelike. Little bit rough around the edges. I don't like the graphics much and the mechanics a little bit overwhelming during the tutorial. Also, the day progress slows down the game. I whine a bit, but the game has so much potential. I wish it were a little bit tighter or the maps were somewhat bigger and populated. But the boss fights are the strong suit of the game. All in all, I had my fun.4 found this helpful
DONT BUY, PLEASE. The progression sucks, with the game being not overly difficult, just tedious. The enemies are simple, but healing takes up all your currency. Its boring waiting for slimes to level up, and overall its just boring. Change this game, so that you get slimeballs for capturing and focus on the capturing only, because most of the time its not worth it to kill them, but you need to to heal and to recharge. i think the capturing is the only fun part of it, and its mediocre at best. No updates for a year, dev has left this buggy game. was more fun to watch the dev build the game than to pay it. most regretted purchase of my steam history
All in all, I would recommend at least to give it a try. Clearly I don't have much time on it and I myself am sort of dissapointed in that. I love Benbonk and I appreciate his hard work, dedication, and effort he put in this game but I'm not gonna say I wasn't a little sad after playing for a while. Truth be told it just doesn't seem like a game that was worked on for as long as it did. But I don't want to slander Benbonk for that, his life was busy and that's understandable. I want to support indie devs and I'll continue playing Benbonk's games, this one just wasn't there for me. Im hoping that in the future, however, one of them will be. Thanks for all you do for us Benbonk and keep making games!
I've been watching the devlogs for this game for ages, and that makes playing it all the more satisfying, seeing all the work pay off The game itself isn't my favorite, but that's because I'm not good at it. I still really recommend it
boring ahh game, you can get 10x better roguelikes for the same price
