The Little Slime is a platformer with roguelike elements. It has permadeath, random stage layout, and many randomized power-ups. Honestly, the game is serviceable but there are a lot of subpar features. Every stage has a song that sounds like a 3-second loop. I decided to mute the game and listen to my own music while playing it. There is not a lot of text so the developer should at least translate the menu properly. If you can get over the small problems, the gameplay is average at best. Fortunately, the game has a lot of power-ups so it is not a complete disaster. You start with a very crapy auto-attack but eventually, you will spam projectiles like a Rambo. I personally enjoy games where you can get very overpowered until entire screen is covered with spam. However, there are some visual issues because the colorful effects can be hard to follow. Please note that you have to open the inventory and select a power-up to replace your basic attack or magic (unless the item is passive). It seems like the game has multiple endings and few character skins based on achievements.
Pros:
+ lots of power-ups, magic, and passives + interesting visual design like the Te…

Review copy provided by developer via Curator Connect I wasn’t sure what to expect out of this one, considering how manic the screenshots are. Starting the game dumps you out in a pastoral little platform world filled with clouds and trees and produce that wants you dead. Right away your little slime will start accumulating powers, the most useful being weapon eyes that let you shoot fire or ice or other things. You’ll find a ton more items on top of that though, most of them adding extra effects to your attacks. After a scant ten minutes my ice shards would sprout scales, seeds, phoenix feathers, ice cream cones, and tiny ambulatory gingerbread men, all of which do damage to enemies. Needless to say I felt like a tiny, slimy, ♥♥♥♥♥-up god. I managed to beat the boss, a giant angry carrot, and that took me to a pastel block world of murderous tetris pieces. I got lazy and died (you get plenty of health), and got thrown back to the main menu. Turns out this one is a bit roguelike in that you have to do all four worlds in one go without dying. While it doesn’t feel like a super tall order it’s not really a game that’s designed for it, since enemies and bosses can have…

Bad game,a seriously bad game. I really don't like to pressure indie developers like these because its probably their first time making games but this...The only thing I'd say is it'll make more sense if this was on the Apps Store or Google Play Store. This markets as a quote on quote ''Hack and Slash" but this has probably been the worst one I've played yet. Lets start, Jumping in,the settings are simple,I will give props to the dev for this because some people really don't like going through all those settings and it's excusable, especially when this game can be run on a potato,so graphics settings isn't really a thing. Second thing I would like to cover is the controls, this game does not allow controllers (It does not support them) but the controls are completely horrendous,''W'' to open your inventory,''A'' to move left,''D'' to move right and ''S'' for the map. This will be extremely confusing for players who play any sort of FPS or know the basic controls of PC gaming.Finding yourself opening your inventory while in a fight isn't uncommon as the controls are simply that. You can't even change them for gods sake! (My inital third point was the graphics but again, this is a small i…
