About The Majesty of Colors Remastered
You are an enormous creature from beneath the ocean who has never seen the surface. What will you do with this world of humans? Can you survive? Will they?
Last night I had a dream.
I floated in darkness, immense, squamous. My mind flowed like my body, slowly and sinuously, tremendous wheels both too slow and too fast for me to describe to you now.
I was perfect, and titanic, and serene. But then, as I moved through the cold abyss, I saw a light. And as I came near, I saw something... wonderful.
- Multiple endings based on your actions
- Short playthroughs that play out differently depending on your choices
- Graphics, physics, interactability, and sound remastered from the original Flash version

It is always a joy to see another of the many classics from back in the Flash days of gaming be brought back and improved upon, given that I have a certain fondness myself for various titles over on Kongregate when it was still a beacon of activity for many young gamers and other video game enthusiasts. However, as you'll find later on in this review, I am left with some mixed feelings on how to approach whether to recommend this game as it currently stands, regardless of the nostalgia I have for it. Before I begin to make my case about this indie from a long-gone era of the early Internet and what makes it worthwhile purchasing as well as any points of contention that goes against it, I should preface what this game is all about. Created in 2008 by solo game developer Gregory Weir, The Majesty of Colors sees you taking control of a cosmic horror creature of all things however, in a spectacular twist on the whole genre, this game presents the premise of how this supernatural entity would engage and interact with other regular human beings in a much more colourful and wholesome direction that certainly helped make it stand out from the crowd of Flash games even back then! World's most useless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ helicopter rescue pilot, my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god.
This is one of those wonderfully weird little games that knows exactly what it wants to be. Playing as a deep-sea tentacle monster, you reach up from the water to poke and prod at the strange surface world. The concept is as funny and unique as it sounds, and the game executes it perfectly with simple but satisfying physics that let you toss things around with cartoonish abandon. For a game you can finish in 20 or 30 minutes, it packs a surprising amount of charm.
First played this game in 2008 on Kongregate. It's fun and yet sad at the same time. I was more than happy to pay a few dollars to spend an hour being transported back to my teens and enjoying the story once again.
Very nostalgic
One of my all time favorite short little game experiences. I remember finding this shortly after it first came out all those years ago and I fell in love with I Fell in Love With The Majesty of Colors. It's not a long game, but it is worth it. It is one I used to come back to just to enjoy the eldritch whimsy.
