Spin Quest: A Slot Adventure

It was actually pretty fun and I was glad to see there weren't any microtransactions. Well worth the $3-4

i was asked to beta test this game and i really liked it because of the different style:- a slot game mixed with RPG elements to me it was unusual so i was interested, it was addictive with good graphics and good all round gameplay, i really liked it

This game absolutely rips. Not sure if it's actually good for normal, socially well-adjusted individuals, or if I just like gambling a little too much, but either way it was well worth my $4. I was able to max out the collections in about 7 hours, but there are a few grindy achievements I'll likely come back to complete next time I catch the wheel-spinning bug. I'd love to see more content added in the future, and at $4 I'd happily pay a couple bucks for a DLC. It has some very good automation options, which makes it a perfect game to sit back and chill with while listening to some music and enjoying a nice beverage. This is obviously a one-person (or very small) dev team, and the game is a little janky in spots, but I found the jankiness mostly endearing in the old-school flash game sort of way. The most annoying glitch is a persistent audio issue causing sound effects to loop indefinitely until the next sfx plays, which then loops itself, and so on... not sure exactly what triggers this, but it seems to happen mostly when I hit potions on the slots, and only can be fixed by completely closing and reopening the game. As a gamer the game just plays itself until you land on a bonus or battle feature spin, but as a gambler this game hits nearly the same dopamine that a real slot machine provides! Its got the different symbols, the bonus features with RNG mini games, the "anticipation" spins if you have 2 special symbols on the wheel, and coin showers if you make it big! For $1 its not bad and it's nice to have on while I watch a movie or try to get work done.

An interesting take on slot games blended with RPG elements. While the slot mechanics are the basics, it's the abilities, level-ups, combat and exploration aspects that make this game unique and more fun than a classic slot game. The exploration of the different zones coupled with the unique feel of the bonus & combat areas bring a lot of fun to the progression. There's an element of skill added to the game that moves it away from just random spinning to a more calculated approach where you need to take into account abilities, setup for buffs and items etc. This adds to the overall experience and makes the game a bit more than just the sum of its parts. The design (looks, items, avatars etc) as well as the music add immersion and flavor and so far there were no bugs or anything preventing progression. Looking forward to the end-game of item collections and achievements.

It doesnt really explain anything well and the slots part is dull. No real sound effects, no real incentive to continue playing at all really. Its just boring.
