Street Shuffle

[i] My Experience [/i] I initially picked up [b]Street Shuffle[/b] thinking it would be a deckbuilder. While it is, in a loose way, it doesn't have some of the features you'd come to expect from one. Namely, the ability to remove cards from your decks. Notice I said "decks" plural, because although you begin the game playing only with the deck of the central protagonist "Ace," you soon gather three more performers and form a troupe. You'll have the option to have conversations with your troupe members outside of battles to get to know a bit more about them. To be honest, the only member I found marginally interesting was Gem (the other two are Koko and the Mime). I did listen to all the conversations, but this was more of a completionist move than anything else. Each member of your troupe has their own deck, and each deck is generally strong at doing a few particular things. The only choices you have outside of what cards to play during performances (battles) are which of two cards you'd like to pick to add to a performer's deck when they level up. The characters are cute, the game play is simple and snappy, it's a nice time.

Beat up some clowns in the park.

A very nice short game (or well shorter than a lot of games, been playing it time to time when having a short break and had a good time. :)
