Eight years after my purchase, Capcom added the "Enigma Protector" DRM to the game. This is unethical (and possibly illegal) on so many levels. Capcom has been added to my ignored creators list.21 found this helpful
The gameplay is amazing and I would recommend it except for two major points: #1 Does not work well with PS4 Dual Shock controller (using Steam controller Input settings), or even sometimes Xbox controller. Sometimes controller bugs out and stops working. Get it and try it out, if you have any issues within the 2 hour grace period refund it like I did. #2 CAPCOM retroactively added DRM to the game years after its release. If it wasn't for this issue and the controller issue, I would recommend the game at full price. Definitely worth it. But because of this second point, if you buy it, only buy it at a deep discount like 80% off like I did. But again, I'm recommending it because of #1. Thankfully I still have it on my PS4 to replay it.
If you're 14 & think ninjas are cool, you'll like this game. Competent, but doesn't stand out.

Very fun game. It's a great remake of Strider. My only large complaints: 1. Graphics are 'too clean' in a world that should be full of grit. they took the original and just cleaned up everything... a world wide scrub despite the weather and city life situation.... machines doing it? Didn't see any.... it really busted the theme. 2. Late game, especially the final part, enemies can stun lock you for a while just... knocking you over again and again... it's frustrating. 3. A couple points throughout the game, especially at one part the enemies start taking just too many hits and after the power up, you can feel good for 3 or 4 rooms before you get to a new area (or the same area) and the enemies are just too strong again. Overall the balance is good! Just a couple parts, especially one it gets ridiculous.... makes it just, not fun to go through those areas.... makes it just tedious. That said, control is great, so great it felt a bit sloppy lol. Sometimes i was bouncing all over the place when I was trying to just stop on a certain spot! However, later I realized that was entirely user error! I didn't realize for a long time that there was a button you could hold to preve…
Its actually pretty good. i like the fast way u can easily kill enemies and etc
