About Supplice

Supplice is everything that you would ever want from a ‘90s-stylized shooter: fast-paced action with big guns and even bigger enemies, wrapped in the most stylish pixel art in this part of the Universe. In other words, if the original DOOM had a hot sister, Supplice would be her.

The story of Supplice will bring you to the far corners of the Universe as humanity has outgrown its cradle. As a part of a terraforming team, it was your job to find and prepare new worlds for colonization. While unleashing bio-mechanical horrors was not on your terraforming to-do list, saving the world will now have to be in your resume.

Every encounter with the mecha-mutant fiends will be a swift and brutal affair. Luckily, you’re an engineer and you’ll have a lot of tools to solve such ‘practical problems’, from industrial drills and flamethrowers to conventional firearms and experimental weaponry.

And if that is not enough, there are always alternative modes. Need someone to cover your back? Change your minigun into a stationary sentry gun! Need some breathing room? Expel flammable gas from your flamethrower and set it aflame for a toasty, enemy-free space!

Yeah it's good I guess but esselfortium did some of the music and map design and frankly that's most important to me personally.

For me, the best retro shooter out there. Perfect blend between Doom-style gameplay and Marathon-style storytelling. Cool story, super satisfying gun play, incredible soundtrack and gorgeous level design. It's being developed by veterans of the Doom mapping community, and it shows.

my goodness. goose the saturation a bit and the gamma a hair; fine tune in the
area you join the rotary club
. it's an fps since relentless frontier, which was an fps since selaco. oh and
RELENTLESS SUPPLICE
make it happen e1: however, the redcan lights + other red canisters that do not explode when i click them is actually against the law and i'm pressing charges. i was willing to go this far without mentioning lack of nacho cheese cheevos and jumping. please, let me jump. this is a dangerous place. e2: okay, fine, found some exploding barrels

game was absolutely amazing and i cant recommend it enough, the guns are great, the enemies and boss fights were awsome, the levels are huge and by the end i was genuinly invested in the story the only critism id really have is that a couple levels fall into the "iv been making doom wads for 30 years" trap were they get so huge with so many enemies and map triggers that it can get a tad confusing, tho every level is masterfully put together and the auto map is fantastic and very helpful and if u have experience playing doom wads u shouldnt have any trouble, i never found myself stuck for more than a little bit and never had to look up a walkthrough or anything if yer hesitating and thinking about the full game and story line not being finished i promise you the first 4 chapters are absolutely worth playing now (chapter 5 coming in a couple months of writing) , these chapers are absolutely massive and took me 25+ hrs just to get through them alone and i missed a ton of secrets oh ya and the music was fantastic too 10/10

Oh man, why isn’t this one more well known? At the time of writing, there are only four episodes available, with two more apparently on the way, and I honestly can’t wait for the rest. This is built on GZDoom, but it’s more than just a Doom total conversion. There is a story here, something about AI, and all that good sci-fi stuff. I mostly mashed through the story bits because I just wanted to blast things, but it is there, and it’s mainly presented through terminals. At its core, this is a boomer shooter running on GZDoom, and it absolutely delivers. The weapons are really fun, the shooting feels great, and the level design is excellent. You are constantly unlocking shortcuts that make backtracking smoother, and there are loads of secrets with meaningful permanent upgrades. Episodes don't have many levels but each one is large. The guns are a highlight. It has a great shotgun pair, the combat feels satisfying, most of the enemies are fun to fight, and the bosses are pretty good too. Each episode adds something new to the experience. I did find Episode 4 a bit weaker than the others, mostly because the theme and environments didn’t really grab me, but it still wa…
