Weapons are scattered everywhere—swords, armor, helmets… Take advantage of this great opportunity! Decide who to help and who to rob! Observe your surroundings, collect weapons, gather armor, sort them and pick the best ones. Once you’ve gathered enough gear, head to the workshop. Just remember—your cart can’t carry everything

Feel the Spirit of the Forge:Grab your hammer! Cut, forge, and dismantle what you’ve brought back from the battlefield! You have at your disposal an anvil, furnace, grindstone, and much more! Many challenges await you on the path to becoming a master blacksmith. You’ll need to melt down, break apart, and forge many weapons to reach the mastery you seek!

Sell your work:
All your efforts support your comrades but also help you to make some extra money. Help your village and protect your workshop by using powerful skills that you have. Dive into the world of enhancement and empower people to win the battle!
Solve puzzles in additional quest:
If you get bored with the main missions you can do other tasks based on interesting and addictive mini-games. Open castles, shoot crossbows and much more. Gather experience and expand your skills, which will allow you to immerse yourself even more deeply into the game world.

Coast!

Soooooo i know its early access and i know its "early" but u get about 3 hours of gameplay maybe 4 before u "finish" the story. The only reason why i have 7 hours on it is because i had to start sections again after either getting stuck or something not working. I would really hope this game gets better and finished but honestly its kind of a let down from a demo that wasnt that bad. The AI voices sucks the life out of the game though. The premise of forging weapons and being a blacksmith is ok but i cant say "yes buy this" when its this early and the money for early access isnt right. Make of this what you will but i got this for free and i feel let down from a promising demo which had a hope.

Love the idea, downside is, i've played about 4 hours and finished the story for now (early access) But out of those 4 hours, i've done maybe 45 minutes of actual smithing, the other 3:15 is just walking around, talking to 1 person, walk back, talk to another etc. After finishing the story, there is not much to do except forge some swords, sell them, forge some more, sell them. No real purpose yet.

I purchaced the bundle with this game played about 7 hours of both games. sword and shield was a real nice crafting game. loved the realism of the crafting mechanics which were smooth and fun to play.. I didnt get far however then i played the beginning of the game. The cart didnt allow me to place items easily had a real issue with space on the cart for the armor pieces.. I couldnt fit small er items such as ores. When i returned with the hall it repaired my cart instantly also when i equiped swords it would stay in inventory even though i droped it so i droped it multiple times then put one in box. anyway i melted down some swords in the smelter and the sword wouldnt disapear form the smelter.. I couldnt then interact with it... wierd bugs happened often in the game all pointing to inventory issues save issues and spacing issues... i refiunded it hoping to purchace it when or if it becomes fully released.. thanks for the effort and may try again..

It looks great and I love the concept, but not compatible with controllers unfortunately. Playing on Steam Deck is quite hacky.
