Was not expecting that ending at all, caught me completely off guard "nah" had me rolling
perfect change of century game
Even 25+ years later, it remains one of my favorite games of all time and one of the best games ever made, in general. Buy it. Play it solo, in the dark, with headphones. Co-op is neat, but it's not meant for it, and it removes all the fear and tense atmospheric immersion. This game serves as a master-class in sound, mission, dialogue, and story telling design.
Arguably better than System Shock 1 by the simple fact that the game is clearer on what needs to be done. The stats system is, in my opinion, not great given that there are so many, but it inspired other immersive sims to use stats in a better way. TL; DR, it's System Shock 2
