The Thing: Remastered

Exactly the same as the original PS2 version just with slightly better facial expressions. It runs very smoothly. I didn't notice how cheesy the lines are in this game when I was a kid because I was mostly watching my dad play this game. I had fun playing this game again with my dad and marveling at how far gaming has come since then.

brings back all the nostalgia I had for this game when I owned it for PS2. I had bought a used copy and could never finish the game due to the disc being scratched up. So glad they remastered it. I finally got to complete it after all these years. Tons of fun with a lot of hours of gameplay. Really captured the essence of the movie. Ran this on my ROG AllyX and it worked great!

9/20/26 3:58 AM this is one of the most boring and confusing messes of a game i have ever played. and i honestly don't even know how to explain it. i think it's a well made mess that does it's best to be it's own thing but everything feels so dated and old. this game should have gotten a full remake with fully updated gameplay but instead we got this. it has some good ideas and mechanics but not much else. i feel like only die hard THING fans would enjoy this.

for being an older game, the gameplay was good, the story fun, and the characters were great, monsters were fun to burn, a straight forward game, no side objectives, straight to the point.

Best Iv ever played

Great game not as intense as the movie but still gives a sense of fear as to who to trust and a lot of action in this game. Non stop. Would probably play it again.
