Whooooo Congrats Terror on the Bayou Team on release!!! I know how hard some of you worked on this and its so cool to see the labors of all of your hard work! - Art, obviously amazing - Design, enjoyed the different paths to the light house, encourages replay in finding all narrative notes (which were great btw) - Sound, spooking and really captured that feeling of the Bayou. - Monster, disturbing lol Yall killed it!

"Terror On The Bayou" is an unusual third person adventure game with a novel premise. You navigate a canoe through a hostile swamp, encountering hazards and a mysterious predator. The story revolves around you taking on the role of a lighthouse keeper to protect the area, or becoming prey in the process. Gameplay involves canoe-like movement controls, exploration of a dangerous environment, and collecting lore. It's also, unfortunately, kinda boring, and wrestling with the wonky canoe controls is not nearly as fun as the developers thought it would be. The graphics aren't great, generally low poly stuff, and the stylised painting textures do take some of the edge off, but not enough that this looks recommentable from a visuals standpoint. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises.
