About Teslagrad Remastered
ABOUT TESLAGRAD REMASTERED
The Kingdom of Elektropia is under siege by a tyrant king, who rules over its people with an iron fist. When a city-wide manhunt comes for him, a young boy escapes into the Tesla Tower. Once home to a sect of technological wizards known as the Teslamancers, it is now a forgotten vault of ancient technologies and forgotten history. You are on your own, with only the tools of the lost Teslamancers and your wits to survive.
Discover and master the lost art of Teslamancy. Solve intricate puzzles and perform incredible feats through electromagnetism. Use these powers to ascend the decrepit tower and bask in a steampunk inspired vision of old Europe in this non-linear puzzle-platforming adventure, and uncover the lore hidden in the visual storytelling of the hand-drawn environments. Can you uncover the secrets of the tower and topple the tyrant?

A simple but atmospheric game with nice art, great music, silent storytelling, and some clever puzzle and boss ideas. My main issue is the movement precision. Aiming in the air or while using abilities can feel imprecise and inconsistent, and the instant-death design makes some parts feel more like trial and error than a fair skill check. The second ending being locked behind collectibles is also annoying, since the game doesn’t make them feel important early on, and the hard-to-read map doesn’t mark them clearly. I’d still recommend it, but with a few caveats. Since it’s short, the frustrations are easier to tolerate.4 found this helpful
3/10 + art style + decent puzzles - 1 hit instant death - sometimes get sent back really far - long bosses that ruin the game and im unable to beat. not hard so much as it is annoying with what feels like a janky oversized hitbox. 0 plans to finish this one - all the achievements are just did you grab that identical thing3 found this helpful
The platforming on this puzzle platformer is genuinely some of the worst movement that I have experienced since playing some trash roblox cash grab. However, where the distinguishing aspect lies is that the roblox game was laughably bad whereas this is just frustrating. At many points, you have to walk long stretches of terrain slowly, due to missing a jump that has to do with inconsistent physics and awkward puzzles. The puzzles are not difficult, but instead often tedious and slow as you wait for an orb-creature to waddle 12 feet. Overall, mediocre and frustrating game, play at your discretion.1 found this helpful
Loved the unique gameplay mechanics mixed with the gorgeous art style.
This is one of those platformers where playing makes well aware that I’m not good at platformers. I’m also well aware this is not considered to be one of the hard ones… minus bosses being able to one shot you. I like the puzzles and the overall world design, and that made me buy it again on PC. You’ll face your first boss pretty fast (easy boss) and get your first couple of upgrades/tools early on.
Clever puzzle design, clear instructions and fun boss fights and secret-finding make this one of the best light metroidvanias out there. It's pretty linear in nature but the interconnectedness of the game world and its approach to verticality really elevate its simple premise. It's definitely not long or hard at all, but, despite this, manages to keep you wanting more and definitely inspired me to try its sequel as soon as possible.
