Best platformer I've played since Celeste

I have watched the developer making and talking this game since early on and was very excited for it's release. It is a shame to see that this didn't launch to greater success, especially now that I am nearly at the end of the game. The platforming is so satisfying and depth of mechanics really surprised me. The progression is so well paced. Each time you become a master of certain mechanics, the game introduces something new or slightly different. Well recommended for anyone who is a fan of pixel platformers

TetherGeist is a precision-focused 2D platformer built around an unusual relationship between movement, companionship, and limitation. Developed and published by O. and Co. Games and Out of Space Games, the adventure follows Mae, a young Mountain Shaman undertaking an important pilgrimage with Bao, her axolotl-like spirit companion. Mae possesses the ability to perform Astral Projection, but her version of this traditional power comes with an important difference: she remains physically tethered to her spirit. What might initially seem like a disadvantage becomes the defining feature of the entire adventure, shaping both its platforming challenges and its themes of growth and self-acceptance. Movement is where the game establishes its strongest identity. Mae and Bao are connected rather than functioning as completely separate characters, forcing the player to think carefully about distance, positioning, momentum, and the environment.
