This game really need optimization and better combat mechanics, the character is so stiff and her attack moves are way too unnatural they're just the same 3 annimation in loop like a PS1 action game... as it stand out for the moment, there's no real reason to buy this unless you like janky and basic combat with barebone UI. This looks more like a student project or a game concept demo than anything else. I think it does have some potential but it definitely requires a total overall in terms of combat and mouvement to make it feel less like an early PS2 era game.

I just finished the first
cycle
of the story. It starts very crude and seems too simplistic, but it's actually a good game with it's complexity and a big area to explore with stuff to find, unlock and use. I enjoyed it. I got it at a discount on a sale and feels totally worth it (even if at the normal price it was already cheap). Seems like it was done by an actual indie dev (apparently a single person); Not my first kind of game like this, so I kind of knew what I was getting into.

I gave the game a shot, the fighting was stiff and the enemy variety was dire. I've had a few occasions where the game would just freak out during a fight and I have no idea what causes it, the whole game world, my character and the baddie I fought would just start jittering (I think it had something to do with coming out of the griffon and immediately attacking, but I don't know). In true souls-like fashion, with the power of a podcast I managed to grind my way through to the final boss fight, killed her, then watched the screen fade to black and reset my progress. To be honest I'm surprised this isn't malware for how basic it is, hopefully my 3.89 CAD goes toward the dev's future projects.

Incredibly basic, but it feels like there's something there. I'd only get it on sale, though.
