You are a wizard tasked with defending the castle from invading monsters. Inside the castle, you can manage resources, harvest crops, gain experience points to level up, and learn new skills and abilities to battle increasingly powerful enemies.The Defender: Farm and Castle 2 is an easy-to-play game suitable for everyone. It combines elements of castle defense and shooting games, with enemies attacking from both the left and right, including ground and flying foes. Each time you upgrade the castle, powerful enemy bosses appear. Additionally, dungeon battles can summon boss enemies as well.It's time to defend the castle from enemies! Let’s defeat the bosses and earn achievements!

"The Defender: Farm and Castle 2" is kind of the worst ripoff of Kingdom: New Lands from Temu that you ever saw. This is a side view TD/soldier attack/defense hybrid where you own a castle, a bunch of monsters come running at you so you need to buy towers and soldiers and let them autobattle it out. Yawn... it's been done a million times more. This does have the Kingdoms like gimmick where you need to focus in two directions at the same time, which is something. Childlike amateur graphics and otherwise weak technical implementation on-par (or below) many Adobe Flash games drops this far beneath PC game standards. So this looks like an old 1990's Adobe Flash game that you might play in a web browser, and the problem there is obviously Steam wasn't intended to try compete with Chrome and Firefox. If it can be done in a web browser, it's not even close to a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That's a problem. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Its a cute fun TD which is completely free and well constructed. Its a lot to take in at first but if your familiar with tower defense type games, you should catch on quickly. This game unlike the previous game seems to have an idle game mechanic where when you finish your run it makes it easier based on the survival time of your last run. I haven't reached that part but its an intriguing play on the rouge like genre.
