The devs should've noted that this was only a first act. If you go in with that in mind, it's not a bad game. The puzzles are solid, and the combat is slow and easy but it provides a stimulating break from thinking. It has its rough edges, but for a first release? It's really nice. I hope the devs managed to do something else, wherever they are.

This is a game I've had on my back burner for a long time. I had initially purchased the PS4 Deluxe physical copy of the game and had started playing that, but then turned to Steam once I lost access to my PS4. With how the game began and hearing just how wonderful the soundtrack is, I was excited to finish the game. This is a retro-styled single-player game where you play as a Girl and a Robot, and you switch perspectives throughout the game to complete puzzles. The Girl is initially locked in a tower and is freed by a mysterious old man with a bird, and through her travels, she finds an amulet that lets her control and befriend a Robot. Through their travels you fight enemies, solve puzzles, and you try to escape the place that's imprisoned the Girl. The main goal is escaping the castle grounds with additional story history you learn as you view paintings scattered through the castle grounds. There is no dialogue to the game, only sounds, so everything is visual. There are no answers as to why the Girl was imprisoned, why the evil queen is keeping her there, why the amulet was there, why it's so hard to get to the castle, or even who the old man is. first of all this should have been called the girl and the robot PART one i dont know if the devs intend to make a part 2 but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they better because leaving the game of on such a click bait like title is just not it. overall though i do enjoy the game. the animation is very reminiscent of those old animations i used to watch as a kid but unfortunately the decision from the devs to not include a manual save button absolutely just kills this game for me to be honest you have to go through some really long sections in the game and if anything goes wrong you have to start all over again if they game just have a save feature i would totally give this game a positive comment. aside from that the combat is horrible, the robots reactions are way too slow in order to combat the opponents who are all alot faster than him and unfortunately combat was quite a big part of the game especially towards the end, you end up having to just arrow spam alot nevertheless despite the no recommendation this game was not a bad game at all, just some flaws here and there as well as a really unsatisfying cliffhanger ending.
