About Mine of my Mind

Mine of my Mind is a plunge into the oppressive world of Andrew. You will take on the role of a Miner to descend into the depths and experience the grueling routine of the mine. But when an ordinary shift suddenly turns into a nightmare, the mine becomes more than just a workplace. It becomes a trap in his own mind. Survive the horror lurking in the Mine as Andrew's mind crumbles like a pile of stones.

Gameplay

The player immerses themselves in a first-person narrative horror. The focus is on environmental interaction, location exploration, studying objects, and finding hidden details. Collect fragments to understand the bigger picture. Progress through the story by gathering clues. Every object found could be a piece of the puzzle revealing critical story elements.

YOU ARE A MINER

The driving force of the game plot is the story of the miners, but the gameplay is not built around mining ore and resources. Characters are revealed from a different side, not as ordinary workers. This story is deeper than the deepest mine.

Be attentive…

Immersion in the plot is built through interactive dialogues with characters, finding notes, and hidden messages. Pay attention to small details...

YOU influence the ending…

As you progress through the storylines, be careful – wrong actions affect how Andrew's story ultimately unfolds.

The game opens with you sitting in an interrogation room, facing a police officer who wants to know what happened. As you begin telling your story, you're taken back a few days to what seemed like an ordinary evening. You're starting another night shift in the mines alongside your best buddy, just like always. Things quickly take a turn, though. After mentioning to the team that you're about to get promoted and leave, everyone starts acting strangely. They head into the mines without you, claiming you drank too much and passed out. Then there's your best friend, who somehow keeps appearing when you least expect him, and before long, you begin seeing things that may or may not be real. My first impression was positive, mostly because of the visual style, even if it takes a little getting used to. The camera is pulled back slightly, making everything in the center of the screen look normal while the edges appear stretched. It creates an effect similar to a fisheye lens. Since there's no option to disable it, you simply have to adapt. It works well in the cramped mine tunnels where it enhances the claustrophobic atmosphere, but it feels less convincing in the outdoor sections. The …

A surprisingly enjoyable experience. The retro visuals, creepy atmosphere, and engaging story make this game stand out. It's not perfect, but it's fun, memorable, and well worth the price. I definitely recommend it to fans of classic-style horror games.

Its an average ps1 style horror (but not really ps1 so maybe ps2?) so nothing to expect out of the ordinary.
