The Savior From Above is a sidescrolling 3D adventure shortgame that combines multiple genres and features various action and puzzle sequences. Its artistic approach is supported by powerful visuals, intense atmosphere and a unique game narrative on the boundaries of science-fiction and fantasy.An unnamed astronaut crashes his space capsule on an alien planet. As he explores the strange surroundings, he soon discovers that his arrival may not have been entirely accidental. According to the remains of an ancient local culture, he is believed to play a significant role in their history.The Savior From Above is a one-man project, a bitesize piece of handcrafted game art, the first release from its creator. 30 mins well spent of my life
80/100 The story concept, a light tale about destiny is just like PLANET ALPHA (I recommended it too). it's an endearing short adventure and it's free. Give it a try.
Decent game, a lot of potential to be turned into a full 6-8 hour game. 7/10
genuinely one of the greatest games I have ever played. It brought so much story and a tear to my eye without saying a single word. The music fit every scene the game was calming, had easy but not to easy puzzles, and a story that makes you think instead of handing you all the details.
Short but Sweet. A little confusing and cryptic at first, but once I figured it out, it was easy. Honestly, getting past the asteroids at the start was the toughest part. Works great on Linux. Really enjoyed the graphics and music. Will play again to get all achievements, as it should be much easier now that I know how to play. 9/10 Asteroids!
