This is such a good and addictive game! And the music and visual style = chef's kiss! "Just one more run." ( ̄_, ̄ )3 found this helpful
Incredibly punishing dungeon crawler that isn't afraid to punish the player. My deaths never feel like they were a result of poor balancing or RNG screwing me over, but instead they feel like something I could have predicted and overcame if I knew more and prepared better. Remember that "error" is a big part of "trial and error".3 found this helpful
I love the graphic design and the gameplay is addictive. This game really sells itself. My main issue is that it gets extremely difficult after the 3rd floor. I am currently trying to find ways to boost my characters to a level appropriate for the enemies being thrown at you. Otherwise, its an awesome title and I am going to keep at it until I have a good flow and can proceed further.2 found this helpful
Thysiastery is a wonderful but short oldschool roguelike dungeon crawler with a charmingly ominous atmosphere and beautiful music and dithered graphics. The default difficulty is moderate for a dungeon crawler. RNG can sometimes get you into a pickle, but that just means more opportunities to experiment and iterate. The skill system is really fun, and leaves a lot of room for interesting builds. I've only played on the default difficulty so far, but the time limit has been more than manageable once I got a feel for it. On the whole, Thysiastery is a gorgeous and atmospheric dungeon crawler with crunchy mechanics and just the right level of difficulty.1 found this helpful
Reverse Wizardry with random teams trying to escape? The dungeon? Classes, training, gear, and hard fights. Tight beyond words.1 found this helpful
No, this got terrible settings, don't bother.
