Tiny Tanks has been recently been re-released as the developer felt they needed to make some big changes. I saw the information on Reddit and thought my friends and I would enjoy it, so I picked up 4 copies. I think the core mechanics of the game are solid. The Smash-esque damage system makes sense and is enjoyable. The dashing mechanic adds to the silliness and excitement. The aiming and driving mechanics of the game feel good, and the destructibility of the map adds flavor and excitement. The tank customization is fun and silly. This foundation is what makes me recommend the game, because of what it can be. Not because of what it is right now. With that being said, there are still a lot of short-comings that need to be addressed before this game will get picked up as a main-stream "friendslop". First, much of the images you see in the preview video above on steam are no longer available with this release. The game lacks variation in it's content. Options in how you want to play are extremely limited at this time. In the couple hours we played, there are probably only 5 or 6 maps. There are only 4 or 5 weapons as well. Cool and fun game! The clean visuals make the super chaotic gameplay easy to understand. It’s easy to get into but hard to master, so skill also matters. Each run feels exciting and rewarding, especially after a final duel between 2 payers :) Solo or with friends, I definitely recommended
