I wished that it was longer, I dont think that its going to be continued since book 1 was finished back in 2019. Its honestly one of the best quality otome out there in terms of art and writing I just wished that it was longer to actually get to the romance part. I can tolerate a lower quality art if they decide to continue this as long as the writing is good. Hopefully you continue the game still.

To the Edge of the Sky is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This almoghty cringefest is a horror story, and the horror is that anyone on Steam may actually read it and be subject to the cringey writing in the garbage e-book, "To the Edge of the Sky". Ugh. Seriously though, this is a cyberpunk themed e-book about the author's favourite topic, his imaginary boyfriend, who is a super secret cyberpunk operative in a fictional city called Olympia because that's soooo original. Yeah the city in Appleseed is called "Olympus", so you know. The originality in these e-book fan-fictions is on par with the sheer cringe. It should come across as no surprise, then, that this is a completely awfully written…

Игра "To the Edge of the Sky" - это визуальная новелла, которая захватывает с первых минут благодаря интригующему сюжету и проработанным персонажам.

visually stunning and emotionally charged sci-fi visual novel that stands out for its atmosphere and character depth. The worldbuilding is strong, blending futuristic technology with themes of identity, rebellion, and human connection. The writing feels mature and introspective, and the characters are well-developed with distinct personalities and believable motivations. The art and presentation are gorgeous. Every background and character design feels carefully crafted, and the music adds a cinematic quality that enhances the experience. It’s clear a lot of passion went into creating this world. On the downside, the pacing can be uneven, and the story occasionally feels more mysterious than it needs to be, leaving players confused about certain plot details. The game is also episodic, so the narrative feels incomplete unless you follow through with later parts. Still, for fans of emotional sci-fi stories with strong character dynamics, To the Edge of the Sky is a beautiful and thought-provoking experience worth exploring. Rating: 8.5/10
