Tom's Mansion

Tom's Mansion is most certainly a contender for one of the worst games on Steam, and perhaps even one of the worst games ever made. It's a first person adventure/puzzle game. You are in an ultra low poly house full of badly cludged untextured 3D models of various things (unsure if bad flips of bad assets or just plain bad). You must pick up a couple of things and use them on the ground floor door to leave. Most of the stuff in the house is irrelevant. You probably need to click on only 2-3 items and then click a couple of times on the front door, gameplay could be completed in perhaps 1-2 minutes if you put any effort into it. The screen shots should tell you everything you need to know about the visual quality of the game. From there, I can assure prospective players that the visuals are the very best part of this game, everything else is considerably worse. You can clip through most objects, the stairs are so badly done you have to jump up them to climb them. This feels like some bad student project where the student failed the class and, to take revenge on the gaming industry, self published their work on Steam. Игра "Tom's Mansion" - это увлекательный и атмосферный point-and-click квест с элементами хоррора и головоломок. Сюжет затягивает с первых минут, рассказывая о загадочном поместье и его мрачных тайнах. Визуальное оформление выполнено в приятном мультяшном стиле, который, однако, не смягчает гнетущую атмосферу. Головоломки достаточно сложные, заставляют пошевелить мозгами и внимательно изучать окружение. Некоторые из них могут потребовать нетривиального подхода и даже возвращения в уже исследованные локации. Управление интуитивно понятное, что позволяет сосредоточиться на решении задач и погружении в историю. К плюсам можно отнести интересный сюжет, атмосферную музыку, разнообразие головоломок и харизматичных персонажей. Из минусов – иногда встречаются небольшие баги, и хотелось бы чуть больше подсказок для особо сложных моментов. В целом, игра оставляет приятное впечатление и рекомендуется всем любителям жанра, кто ценит атмосферу, головоломки и увлекательные истории. Это отличный вариант, чтобы провести несколько вечеров, разгадывая тайны старинного поместья.
