this indie horror developer makes sexy female protagonists, that alone is worth the buy. combat is like re4 style, guns and melee weapons. VA is good. so far the developer has made 3 cheap horror games, and I mean cheap as in price, and I hope he continues to make horror games.

Definitely very clunky and janky, but it has enough design competence and, dare I say, production value to place it well above the leagues of generic indie horror titles you can find on itch.io and such, and for a budget first commercial effort made by a single person who ends things off by acknowledging it as a practice run for future endeavors I don't think that's too bad. Always nice to see such things produced by a fellow countryman as well. Fun

So this was my first full experience with a game developed by the solo dev Farelas and I gotta say... I loved it! I previously played a demo for his last game, "Lurking Danger", and I happened to watch a couple of videos involving "Selene's Unbearable Night" so I was fully aware of the jankiness of these works and it didn't disappoint me one bit. Yes, the animations are awkward as hell, the dialogues are abysmal and the plot is pure nonsense (although I have to admit that I was pretty distracted most of the time), but I honestly had a blast playing through it nonetheless. In fact I probably enjoyed it because of these aspects. Models and assets grabbed directly from a free library, sometimes my partner just disappears from my pov but the enemies can still target and hurt her, cutscenes that feel more like fever dreams, the fact that the ai breaks its neck while doing a full 180 head spin when it interacts with me. All these things could very easily result in a disaster but here it all seems "right". Despite the fact that "Unbearable" gives you the feeling of being one step away from falling apart and despite everything I previously mentioned, it is totally functional and playable …

It's impossible to play this, too many bugs. I ended up falling into an endless pit of darkness. It's really frustrating.
