8/10 Great little game. Great music Great art style Good controls Cool story, felt unique. Started off a little slow but as you gain abilities every hour or 2, it makes the gameplay much more engaging and less tedious. Glad there are save points fairly often and the boss run backs are the perfect length (im over the usual MV grueling 10+ minute boss run back-obstacle course) Coulda used a bit more color and the controls coulda been a little more refined but it’s easy to get use to and part of the charm really. Feels Indy. Worth the buy. No brainer if it’s on sale.1 found this helpful
Great metroidvania that can be a real challenge for people who enjoy them, while offering a story mode for people who are new to the genre that makes it much more accessible. The gameplay is fun though lacking full polish with niche interactions feeling a little clunky. It doesn't take away from the combat though, and the character design and art style is really unique. The music wasn't anything crazy, but fit the setting well. The story was a lot of fun with the characters and the twists and turns it takes. The game is fun to 100% while one achievement is a pain since there are some areas that can instakill you and ruin a no death run. Overall, worth a playthrough.1 found this helpful
Solid Metroidvania that doesn't do anything new, but is enjoyable. Great art & music, fun to explore and obtain collectibles. I stopped playing the game in the past, but gave it another go, and after about an hour, I was hooked.
Cute, "Metroidvania", which is pretty straight foreward. You get your skills along the way close to where you need them anyway. Story Mode is easy and enjoyable. The story itself seems interesting and the artstyle is unique. It feels like a comfy pick, when you are not up for a distressing experience, :)
Lovely game. A bit challenging but manageable. Nice story and aesthetics. Not too long.
mostly accurate depiction of growing up in korea but with less boss fights
