Originally was a fun auto battle game. The problem you run into is having over 400+ heroes and over time they become pointless to have. The power creep is bad and if your not spending and/or playing constantly - you are left behind with no real way to catch up. Heroes and gears were easy to manage in the beginning now it feels like if you don't just hit auto - you're wasting your time. Its frustrating when a lot of the new mechanics feels foreign and out of reach to returning players. There is no obvious catch up mechanics for accounts that haven't played for a while and the guild system itself feels completely dead. Right now it just feels like a cash grab on the remaining players who have invested far too much to just leave.

Although I do love how far Valkyrie Connect has gotten, some of the event bosses so far have gone pretty annoying and the way some are set at the start do more damage than you think they wouldn't. I'm not one for going serious, but having bosses that do a lot of damage or inflict specific status ailments that you can't get rid of... that's pretty much going to stop around about 50% of people from playing.
