The King of Shades has cursed the great city of Icenaire. Now cast under a permanent blight of frost fall, its former residents have returned from the dead as mad Wraiths. Survivors take refuge deep underground where they lead a desperate campaign against this unearthly power. Woefully outmatched, they are forced into hiding as the King of Shades amasses an army of the undead above them. One fateful day, a mysterious stranger appears in the city with an enchanted vambrace. She may now be their only hope…
You are Evelia Lyric, bearer of the Aetherbrace and the only human capable of entering Icenaire. The survivors now look to you as their best hope against the King of Shades. Only one problem...you’re woefully outmatched, and survival is not guaranteed.

I really like the concept of a more story-focused Darkest Dungeon type of game, and I think the devs did a good job on the story progression aspect. The main problem with the game is the actual combat itself. All the combat mechanics are so lackluster/boring compared to Darkest Dungeon to the point where I have no motivation go through it, every combat encounter just feels like a dull chore. Also, the UI is set up in such an inconvenient way to waste your time.1 found this helpful
It is clear effort was put into this game and while i'm struggling with the difficulty and game mechanics i love the art style! I do not remember paying for this game but my memory is not the best. Pros: Art style, Nice UI, very unique character designs Cons from what little i have played so far: very difficult, the game seems to force me to use my controller when i prefer keybord and mouse. if this game goes on sale i would reccomend it unless you are after a difficult rpg. seems to run well on my pc but the load screen seems abit laggy.
Fun little game.
This game has amazing atmosphere, places and story.
