... I really wanted to like this gamee. I really really didd, but it's such a broken mess that I just can't recommend it until it's fully fixedd. I know that the dev is still working on this gamee, but after not getting an update for two yearss, and even then it's a minor updatee (... The dev didn't even put the patch notes in the updatee, all he said was: "Oh I'm still working on the gamee" which is good to clarify buut... What was fixed in the March 2026 updatee?? It doesn't sayy!), I don't know how I can recommend it to others unless it gets updated more frequently and the bugs are fixedd To clarifyy, I played on Steam Deckk, which Steam says it's verified forr, so now that that's out of the wayy, here I start with the brunt of my revieww: Firstt, I'll start with the things I likedd. For one thingg, it's very impressive that this is an RPGMaker game at alll, the first few minutes of playing I had to do a double take 'cause it looked so unique from all the other cookie-cutter RPGMaker games that the big-wigs in the community praisee, it makes me sad that it doesn't get more attention for what it iss. I started playing this on GOG first before realizing it was on Steam too. So even though at the time of this review it looks like I haven't really played it...i have actually put a few hours into it. What you are going to get out of this here is not a FF killer, but still a decent game for being free. It definitely gives off that 16bit RPG feel....maybe a bargain bin one, but this game knows its price point and hits at $0. You can't argue that. It might not be the best RPG in the world...but it is the cheapest. Enjoy!

Разнообразие оружия и улучшений позволяет адаптировать стиль игры под себя, а каждое прохождение ощущается уникальным. Боссы представляют собой серьезное испытание и требуют тактического подхода. Однако, игра может показаться несколько однообразной ближе к концу, а кривая сложности иногда резко скачет. Не хватает разнообразия врагов и локаций. Тем не менее, если вы ищете увлекательный рогалик с суровой атмосферой и интересной системой прогрессии, 'Drekirokr - Dusk of the Dragon' вполне может вас заинтересовать. Рекомендую!

This game is on the level of a demo. It is way too ambitious to be finished without a serious injection of money. The English text is basically unreadable outside of the books which read perfectly fine, but are barely present in the game. Perhaps the reason the writing elsewhere fails so hard is an attempt to write casual English but it ends up being off 100% of the time if you are not fluent in the language. I also think Orochi probably has not worked on most of the text in a long time because I think they are capable of better now. Even so, I would contribute myself to polishing up the text so it is at least readable (if given the chance). The title screen actually made me think I might not like the game because it seems to have several errors with the combat screen and it does not show much of significance and the animations looked very awkward. Somehow when actually playing the game the animations never looked that bad and I did a lot of combat. I feel like this game really nails the feeling of a Playstation Final Fantasy game or something. It actually does have Limit Breaks, which is awesome. And despite the severe lack of content, you could level your character skills up …
