This game is a blast, large range of weapons and hidden gem and items, powerups, etc. Even on the easy level its still very challenging and provides hours of entertainment. Definitely a must have game! Everything about the game is great from the art, sound track and all the levels. Tons of challenges with this indie game! would recommend a controller for optimum performance.

It's okay for a dollar

A fun platform shooter that is both challenging and rewarding. Having a roguelike character traits allow for a good deal of replayability. You shouldn't pass on trying this game out.

I've spent some time playing this game and all I can say is this: Rewarding. I am very pleased with my purchase. Voltic pistol is the perfect blend of Metroid and Mega-Man. This game is a challenge. Everytime you die, your stats change and it changes the way you play each level. You cannot just bum rush every enemy and expect to beat the game. Each enemy has a pattern that you'll need to learn to get through the level unscathed. This is a genuinely fun game. If you choose to purchase it, good luck soldier.

Shoot things, slash baddies, jump up on things (whilst shooting things and slashing baddies). This game gives the feeling of total empowerment of your world and that you can...damn I just died... Oooh I have recloned to the same level with different characteristics giving me the ability to shoot and slash and jump to total dominance...damn I just died... Oooh, after respawning I now have the characteristics to notice the cute but simplistic graphics and the way the enemy bullets just fly towards...

Challenging and innovative platformer that keeps the play dynamic by giving you a hero with different strengths and weaknesses after every re-spawn. With different abilities and special power-ups, each new run will force the player to alter strategies accordingly. Gun and sword attack options and an aiming feature that improves shot accuracy give the player lots of options when battling enemies, though some enemies require specific attacks to defeat. Controls are precise and easy to learn. To top it off, the game has a wonderfully high-energy soundtrack.
