Wicked Willow

As far as gameplay goes, this visual novel is as simple as it can be: no scores, no variables, the only choices to be made are between two different options and there's a tracking function, too. Where this game really stands out is in its themes: evironment, marginality, LGBTQ+ rights, magic and many other. The narration is never dull and Willow faces several moral dilemmas. Every final is very different from the others and it almost feels like reading eight different stories. The art is static but well drawn; the voice acting is very good.

Absolutely beautiful, totally underrated game. So much passion went into the art, story, and voice acting. $20 is steep for a visual novel but you get what you pay for!

Absolutely awesome game! No other game had me to excited to play all storylines and get all endings, like ever. I really like that to get the whole picture you have to play any route. :) I jush wish that [spoiler]to get a happy with Valerie one wouldn't have to sacrifice others[/spoiler]. But I definitely recommend giving this game a go. It's real nice! Awesome artworks, very cool story and in genreal nicely done. :D

Overall, game is a positive if you like Visual Novels. Characters are well developed with different storylines and branches, and you get to experience it from each of their perspectives. The dev and writing was mostly done solo, so another plus there. I hope the best for your future T.F.

For me it's was really strange experience because at the same time I was intrigued and rolling my eyes hard prolly seeing through my skull. Anyway, it is a bit annoying, a bit hilarious, a bit disappointing and a bit engaging. Mostly worth the time, mostly worth the price. So my final decision is advise you to take a chance on it, to read this story your own way and make your own opinion

Everything else about this Visual Novel saves it from the EXECUTION of its story. The ideas are there, the characters are okay, the plot has enough twists (even if somewhat predictable) to keep one hooked, the voice acting is good and the art is great. Said execution of the story does take away from it somewhat. The consequences of power use were new to me and I found them neat, but they tend to limit character growth, a little of which is necessary even in a short title. The romances felt rushed, if quite wholesome. Lastly, it doesn't nuance its ideas or introduce them slowly, but rather bashes the reader over the head with them. Overall, it remains a decent title in a lot of ways, so if the things mentioned above are not deal-breakers for you, get casting!
