In short: Yarne is a meditative, simplistic puzzle game about stretching and arranging strings. The levels are well designed and can get fairly difficult. The minimalist aesthetic does not excuse the lack of settings and several elements of jankiness. Even for roughly 5 hours of unique content I wouldn't recommend buying at full price, but on sale it's a decent pick-up if you're looking for a relaxing puzzle game. In long: The mechanics are fairly simple. Each level is comprised of hexagonal tiles. Some have polygons inside which represent curled-up strings. Grab them with the mouse and unravel them by crossing into different tiles. Since strings cannot cross, the challenge lies in finding configurations that allow all strings to be fully stretched out. This will be a short review that will give you answers to 2 questions. Completed all the levels. 1. This is very good puzzler that has 15-20 challenging levels. 2. The developers made a game for PC with almost no PC options and no achievements, I like them just to keep track of how many people finished the game so that would've been nice. Recommend if you don't mind lack of effort put into this game, it is a PC game and as such the minimum standards are required. Good puzzler though.1 found this helpful
super simple and relaxing puzzle game. i easily recommend it to anyone looking for something that isnt gonna stress you out. you can breeze through this game, but it has a lot of replayability because its quite easy to forget. the names of the puzzles are cute as well. all in all its crazy simple but still engaging. 9/10!
minimalist puzzling fun that ramps up to quite difficult
I've never seen an abstract puzzle game make so much sense to me. Simple and very charming. Windows BUG Installing this game in something other than your C: drive will cause it to not be able to launch a second time. Bug present as of 7th of January 2022.
super chill and challenging in the best way, this game slappps
