A Robot Named Fight is a procedurally-generated Metroidvania roguelike where you explore sprawling labyrinths, collect randomized power-ups, and blast grotesque creatures to stop the all-consuming Megabeast. With over 4 billion unique runs, true permadeath, and local co-op support, every playthrough demands you adapt to a fresh arsenal of 80+ items while battling 60+ nightmarish enemies.
A Robot Named Fight is a Metroidvania roguelike focused on exploration and item collection. Take on the role of a lone robot tasked with stopping the entity known as the Megabeast. Explore procedurally-generated labyrinths, uncover randomized power-ups and artifacts, find secrets, and blast meaty creatures in this deliciously gory Metroidvania.
Millennia of peace have passed since the mechanical gods ascended and left the lower order robots to cultivate the world. Unfortunately for those left behind, something forgotten and terrible stirs amidst the stars: the Megabeast, a pulsating moon-sized orb of flesh, eyes, mouths and reproductive organs – unleashing its children onto the world like an unstoppable plague.

Players praise this roguelike's excellent Super Metroid-inspired controls and movement, addictive "just one more run" gameplay loop, and variety of weapons and builds that encourage replayability and experimentation. However, some criticize the slow pacing, randomly generated maps that can feel repetitive and atmospheric, and tedious progression that relies on shooting every wall to find secrets, occasionally resulting in dead-end passages.
Starts fun but gets super repetitive after a few deaths. I wish there was a way to play a full run through without resetting when you die.3 found this helpful
i gave the controller to my depressed abuelita and she got the first ending in a month and it lowky cured her depression and then after i gave the game a try the day after all the ladies were asking for my fone number. 100/10 game cant wait for ARNF2 or sumthing any typa sequel would be amazing icl! TLDR; cured my cancer, cured my grannys depression, got me hella ladies, and now im the coolest on the block.2 found this helpful

Fuertemente inspirado por Super Metroid (el movimiento más vertical que horizontal, la estética...), pero por alguna razón, el desarrollador decidió hacer un rogue-like en vez de crear un buen mapa. Y un rogue-like en el que si mueres, pierdes todo tu progreso y tienes que empezar desde el principio. Los jefes son extremadamente fáciles por tanto. Hay muchos secretos en paredes aleatorias, sin ninguna indicación que la pared se pueda destruir, asi que tienes que estar disparando al escenario todo el rato por si acaso. Si no se hubiera hecho un rogue-like y con algunas mejoras de diseño, hubiera podido ser un buen juego.1 found this helpful
