Monster Hunter Anime

mediocre story, fun combat, beautiful graphics, amazing character design, great soundtrack this game reminds me a lot of monster hunter in the way that you play for the combat, not the story. the story is awfully generic and most of the dialogue felt unnatural. i remember there being only one line of dialogue that i thought was funny. i was only interested in one character (dude with the big sword), everyone else was pretty boring and flat. the combat is one of the best parts of this game. it plays very similarly to monster hunter, but a bit less complicated (for the most part). every character has a unique moveset with their own mechanics. i'm personally playing zeta because she's super similar to insect glaive. i like the link time and the SBA/burst mechanics. definitely a lot more arcade-y than monster hunter. it's also a lot more forgiving, the boss doesn't attack you that much because it's attacking your other party members. it's also very hard to actually fail a quest because even when you go down you can just spam buttons or have your teammate get you up. i've only completed the main story and a bit of the chapter after that so i can't say much about difficulty right n…

I came back to the game for the DLC, and wow, it’s honestly really fun. To be honest, I didn’t find the new characters that enjoyable. They feel a bit slow, and their builds are all pretty similar to each other. Still, the DLC was a really fun experience overall. I got another 60 hours of gameplay just from the DLC, and the new boss fights were genuinely amazing. This is easily one of the best anime games I’ve played, and I’d definitely say it’s worth trying. 7/10

What I've always wanted out of Monster Hunter and the best Gacha game that isn't Gacha. Just a fantastic experience if you want to beat up big things and keep grinding for just one more thing, I swear...

Good fun game but its a joke that you can't bind buttons over each other when there's a toggle required to be held to do some of the most important things (Skills) Console aaaaa game its lazy af when stuff like this happens
