Commandos: Origins

[b]Commandos: Origins feels like a proper return to what made the original Commandos great.[/b] It keeps that [b]classic Commandos taste[/b]—stealth, planning, patience, carefully studying patrols, and combining your Commandos' different abilities to pull off the perfect plan. What I particularly appreciate is that Origins seems to understand what worked in the original formula while [b]dropping many of the bigger changes—and, in my opinion, mistakes—introduced with Commandos 2 and Commandos 3.[/b] It feels much closer to the roots of the series while still benefiting from modern graphics and controls. The environments look great, the missions give you different ways to approach objectives, and there's still nothing quite like spending 10 minutes planning the perfect move... only for one guard you completely forgot about to ruin everything. 😂 [b]A modern Commandos that actually remembers why we loved Commandos in the first place. I played the original game around 20 years ago. And Commandos: Origins makes me feel nostalgic. 🙈

Pure nostalgia that does well in 2026

Really enjoying Commandos: Origins so far. It brings back that classic Commandos feeling where you actually have to think, plan your moves and figure out the best way to deal with each situation. The missions are fun, the maps look great and I like that there are different ways to approach things. It feels really satisfying when you make a plan and everything works out perfectly. If you liked the old Commandos games or just enjoy tactical stealth games, I definitely recommend giving this one a try. Glad to see Commandos back!
