You must survive between ambitious rulers dreaming of building an empire, treacherous neighbours that long to burn your kingdom, and the religion which always makes unreasonable demands. After drawing hard and straight outlines, we drew unique faces for our characters. Then we had them stand in front of solid color tone backgrounds and brought them to life with our in-house software. In Scenario mode you will follow a character’s story, while in Sandbox mode you can conquer the world without any restriction. Each mode is connected and will affect the other. Good choices and decisions from past games will lead your future plays to success.Friend or Enemy?
Neighbouring kingdoms remember your behaviour and will react to it. Critical mistakes bring dissent and lead to war. If you react according to a character’s personality, they will open their mind.Accusation
In the 11th century, persons without faith were either barbarians beyond the borders, or heretics that were burned at stake. Every kingdom is under the influence of a religion, and will demand your kingdom prove their faith.Conspiracy & Backroom Deals
Every June, a meeting is held during which believers of each faith gather to condemn and denounce the others. Kingdoms will condemn one another, while religious leaders will stop a war or demand a crusade. You must do anything possible to turn the participants’ opinion to your liking, including bribes, threats, and all kinds of dirty tricks.All will be forgiven in the name of God.

Plebby Quest: The Crusades offers an appealing casual grand strategy concept with enjoyable combat mechanics and some entertaining elements like generals and religion systems, but players consistently report that the game becomes repetitive and monotonous in the late game, with balance issues that make certain army compositions overpowered and sieges trivial once key units are researched. The writing quality is poor and there are historical inaccuracies that further detract from the experience, leading most players to suggest waiting for a significant sale rather than purchasing at full price.
I would really love to recommend PlebbyQuest, but I just can't. The idea behind this game - a grand strategy in a casual format - really appeals to me, and I believe it's a solid game at its core. However, a few decisions were made that, at a certain point, make the game simply monotonous and tedious. Add to that a few issues of a... geographical and historical nature, and you get a picture of wasted potential. First things first. The concept of the game and its core gameplay are fine. The combat resolution is very enjoyable, although you can quickly notice that there is one specific army composition that is vastly superior, making experimentation pointless. Additionally, from the moment you research the armored battering ram, it's virtually impossible to lose a siege. The durability of this machine means the enemy is entirely helpless against it. This makes the game trivial after a while. And speaking of triviality - the game is simply too easy. There is no smooth transition between the early and late game. The latter arrives very quickly (even around turn 30) and makes no sense whatsoever. From the moment you recruit Tier III units (out of V max), the AI becomes too afraid to a…2 found this helpful
