✦ AI summary

WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY is a turn-based monster-collecting game that players with a taste for classic Final Fantasy charm appreciate for its creature variety and whimsical characters, though many are frustrated by technical issues like being locked at 30fps and launcher problems on PC. Common complaints center on sluggish combat, excessive tutorials and dialogue, and a childish presentation that doesn't quite land for everyone, though some enjoy the goofy tone and solid voice acting and music.
"Same as my refund request note"
stuck in 30fps, requires to run as administrator to run, annoying dialogue (adding "the-" frequently in a specific character's dialogues, which is much better done in JP). too much overly explained tutorials, slow and unimpressive combat

Buying this for PC was a mistake. Before cloud saves I worked around it and setup my own sync service. Ran the launcher from local files as admin to circumvent steam because that didn't launch the game. Now I can't even launch the game from local files. Just de-list it already, it's a disservice.

This is one of my favorite Final Fantasy games; I tend to only like turn-based games, and think that ATB is an affront to god and maybe you should just go play Dark Souls about it. Or to kill an elder god, at least. Does this let you do that? Who's to say. But you can collect monsters from the Final Fantasy series, and summon some friends from the same series. You wanna summon Sora to beat up your dudes? Oh wait, Sora got "removed" because Disney needs to be disbanded. Two more summons, are hidden away in the code that should be there to begin with. Well, fixable enough anyways. But you want a fun side-character that speaks funny? Yes you do. Seriously, if you also hated Nopons from Xenoblade, and specifically Tatsu from XCX? You're wrong, and maybe Tatsu isn't food, but you should be. Stick you in a pot with all the rest of the wrongdog. You want some nice voice acting, even for all the NPCs? Do you want a really pretty art aesthetic that feels authentically Final Fantasy? Do you want a really catchy soundtrack, finding yourself humming the tune for the Nine Wood Hills? Do you want main characters who are campy and compelling, and entertaining? The story isn't super…

as a pokemon fan, I thought this game would be right down my alley. Well it's not. Game is not fun, story is not great. stuck at 30 fps

It's a weird game. TL;DR bootleg Pokemon? Maybe? Feels and looks like something young kids would love on paper, but throws a lot of dialogue, menu tutorial and game mechanics at you. Nothing crazy complicated, but enough I could see some younger ones losing interest before the game even gets rolling. The story is alright. The characters are goofy. Setting is goofy to match though. The graphics aren't too bad, but the chibi style is a bit much. It's a bit too chibi imo. The voice acting, music and sfx are great. As far as gameplay, the battles are slow. Hit that fast forward. Still only on chapter 4, but encounter rate seems a bit low? The fast travel is nice, but doesn't seem needed early on. Looks like will come in handy later on from the map though. After you knock out all the tutorials and talking, it feels like it picks up a bit. The first dungeon was alright. First area was kind of bland. Whole section of maps where there's no encounters. Game doesn't like to load. Running the WOF application executable as administrator gets it about half the time. Even changing the application settings checkbox to always run as admin oddly didn't help. Have to manually choose run as adm…
