It is a misty evening in the year of our lord 1912. The Pattersons, a poor but proud aristocratic family of the British nobility, and some of their closest friends, arrive at the castle Malachi residence of a wealthy Romanian Count. It is only three days until the family's eldest daughter, Rebecca, is to be wed to the count's son, uniting the family with the rich heritage of the Malachi, hopefully restoring its glory.
The only person missing is you, the brother of the bride, who is on your way from Stockholm, where you have defended the Union Jack in the noble art of fencing in the Olympics. You are to arrive later during the evening.
Sir Patterson is disappointed when the Count himself doesn't greet the family at their arrival, but still he lets the servants show them all to their rooms, without complaining too loudly. It is not until later--when the doors are slammed shut and locked behind them, that he realizes his mistake that they have become prisoners and are at the Count's mercy...

I really wanted to like this game... I love horror, vampires, Nosferatu, and old school games. The game looks extremely cool, and has interesting monsters and weapons. The main villain (The Count), looks AMAZING; they totally nailed the classic look from the original Nosferatu film. The good: The game looks great, is spooky and has a large map. A perfect game to play on a cold October evening. The enemies/bosses are awesome. The weapons are all very fitting, unique and match perfectly with the game's style. The bad: The castle is a massive labyrinth. It's so big that for most of the game I was constantly getting lost and roaming around like a total idiot. The rooms mostly look identical and blend together, and there's a million different doors that automatically close after you use them (I wish they stayed open). There's not much that's aesthetically unique amongst the majority of the rooms in the castle that give you "landmarks" to help navigate. The walk cycle is SUPER slow, and extremely clunky. When you run, your character gets tired way too fast. And the castle is massive; so it gets extremely annoying when you only run a few feet and you…2 found this helpful
This game was my ♥♥♥♥ back in the 00s, and it amazes me that I can still play it on Win11 without having to use mods or anything else to work, literally, just download, play and enjoy just like it was back in 2003. To me, it was a 10/10 Survivor Horror in 2003, and it still is in 2026. I wish we could get a faithful remaster of this game with just a graphics upgrade and able to run in higher resolutions, literally just a remaster, don't change anything else, don't change voices, characters, sounds, just higher resolution and better but still faithful graphics.
This is the best 47 cents I've ever spent, Beautiful classic vampire game.
Has been on my library for quite some time and finally decided to play through it , tbh it's an ok game but wouldn't recommend playing it if you don't have much patience , the map can be super confusing to go through and feels very oudated.
Entertainingly silly
got this game for 3 bucks it was a steal man
