I wanted to like this game, but it's entirely style over substance with frustrating controls. There are very few puzzles - it almost classifies as a walking sim. The story line makes no real sense, which if you're going with a "you are trying to reunite with your family" plot line rather than something completely abstract like Inside, then it kind of has to. This added to the general feeling of aimlessly wandering forward. The movement pace is frustratingly slow, and he got physically stuck on multiple occasions. Frequently he go got stuck against 6" high bricks. It was completely inconsistent on what you could or couldn't climb over and if you needed to press A to initiate it. Even objects you could interact with, unless you were standing in the perfect position, simply wouldn't work. Most of the chase scenes it felt completely random on if you would make it - some I just had to do over and over again, and there was little to no feedback loop on how you could do better - just one time you would magically find the robot dogs didn't catch up with you. Game starts out interesting where you want to learn what’s going on… and then you play for an hour and realize this is one of those artsy games that is super monotonous and boring to the point where you ask yourself “what is the point of this?” and then the controls absolutely RUIN everything. Seriously, the controls suck and there are parts where you will die because the controls are so terrible. I really don’t care wtf the story is anymore, this game stinks.

I loved how the story was told; through actions and gestures, rather than words. I had a great time playing this game, and was invested from the start! The graphics were great! I loved the art style. The controls were good; the camera angle at certain points confused me sometimes, but outside of that I had no issues. The audio and music was captivating! I completed the game in roughly 3 hours.
