About Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon
Blast through a neon-soaked 1980s vision of the future as a cyborg commando fighting mutants, cyborgs, and literal blood dragons in this over-the-top action shooter. It's a gloriously absurd homage to VHS-era sci-fi excess, complete with Michael Biehn voicing your badass protagonist in a standalone adventure that doesn't require Far Cry 3.
Welcome to an 80’s vision of the future. The year is 2007 and you are Sargent Rex Colt, a Mark IV Cyber Commando. Your mission: get the girl, kill the baddies, and save the world.
Experience every cliché of a VHS era vision of a nuclear future, where cyborgs, blood dragons, mutants, and Michael Biehn (Terminator, Aliens, Navy Seals) collide.
Playing Far Cry® 3 Blood Dragon does not require a copy of Far Cry® 3.

Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon is the oft forgotten expansion for FC3 that is a send up of 80s B movies. This game is as close to All Killer No Filler as Ubisoft can get. The shorter length and run time is perfect. The game is dripping in style, with a great synth heavy soundtrack, and campy cheesy reskins of Far Cry 3 helping create one of the most unique and interesting looking FPS games; the creativity is pretty cool for a Triple A dev. Aside from oozing in neons and purples and pinks, the game has a fun 80s action flick story told through great voice acting akin to predator or terminator, lots of homage paid to films of their ilk and very good pixel art for the cutscenes. Blood Dragon is The Rule of Cool dialed to 11, feeling fun to play thanks to some fantastic weapons with RPG level progression as you play through the Far Cry aspect of the game, saving hostages, clearing outposts, and hunting animals to gain exp and money as the game routes you through linear upgrades in your character and gear. Though at the end of the day this is just a reskined and much briefer Far Cry 3 with a new 80s Ominous Synth soundtrack and an 80s Action Flick story, the one biggest addition was the B…

HAHAHAHAHA
Great, but the DRM is insanely inefficient. Remember back in the day how people exclaimed how the DRM was killing performance? I have a bloody 7800x3d and this game is the second most demanding game I own on the CPU. A CPU that was invented and released over a DECADE later that *eats* most and modern games for breakfast - actually uses more power than games that release over 10 years later.
