Battle Bruise 2

Very definition of hidden gem, I have a blast everytime I launch this game! This game deserves more recognition for its unique art style and interesting idea of the terrain changing based on enemies doing damage/piling up. I hope the developers come back with an update or even a 3rd entry to the series but this is more than enough to suffice!

Very Awesome its really fun and i love the art style, just wish the music was on the side to get as dlc like the first game since the music is great.

Bad. The main thing I did like over the first Battle Bruise is the difficulty boost (perhaps it's tailored for Co-Op? I didn't try that...) and the significantly greater horde sizes. There are twenty weapons, 10 primary and 10 secondary, and they're not well balanced. Some just feel very weak (looking at you, three-way crossbow), but whatever, maybe they're meant for players looking for an extra challenge. The main issues here are technical. The secondary attack button gets stuck almost every time I play, and it will keep firing in a fixed direction until it cannot anymore. Sometimes I can mash buttons and fix it quickly, sometimes not so much. It will remain stuck after ammo ran out, preventing it from regenerating. This can happen with exquisitely unlucky timing, costing you a run. I don't recall this happening in the first game, which is less janky than this one in general. I also didn't find an option to cap the framerate: This is a 2D game and it will run at very high framerates on modern hardware if allowed to, for those with thermal concerns. The "car defense" mode is gone, it's all hordes and bosses now. I'd say give this game a miss most times, unless you've run out of gam…
