She is a bright and cheerful woman with a positive personality. Although she is a reporter, she is not skilled at taking pictures.
Limbo Fitzgerald - A Crooked Lawyer
A 27 years-old Lawyer. Limbo is known for advocating in court for even the toughest criminals. Although he is called a crooked lawyer, he is extremely skilled, and he is popular in the city and is seen as a hero. He abides by the law in his own standards and serves justice. Born into an extremely wealthy family, Limbo is soft-hearted.

✦ AI summary

BUSTAFELLOWS is praised by players for its engaging dialogue, well-developed characters, and compelling romance routes with meaningful emotional depth, though some note the storytelling relies heavily on exposition rather than showing. Common complaints include unresolved plot threads and unexplained story elements (particularly the time travel mechanics), translation issues with outdated slang, lack of save-during-choice functionality, and technical problems like lost save data for some players.

I had trouble getting into this book at first and the Menu was really odd... Along with the buttons that need to be pressed and yet... After all that was fixed? And some time had passed? Man oh man! Playing with a Controller was so much better and this book REALLY reminds me of the "Leverage" TV Show. I am SO GLAD I gave it another chance!!! I just loved everything. The CGs (There are so many!), the MC/Characters, the Dark Themes, (and yes, some stuff gets pretty damn downright bitter and sad af! Especially with Helvetica and Mozu... D:) and the cat. American Curl anyone? :D And the story? All I wanted to say was "man, I wish these little case/mission segments they did were longer". This is the only book I would approve of not having romance. Although... "Leverage" had romance too... So nevermind! Oh and Sauli? I think he is the best Side Character in existence lol. I sincerely liked everyone. Hell, even the MC wasn't annoying. She actually makes sense through and through AND USES HER ABILITY!!! In fact, I can go so far to say that some of the more horrible novels I've read? They should LEARN from this BOOK about it's LESSONS!!! I am finished. I am satisf…

I really love the game, I had so much fun and comfort playing it, but it really leaves you with many questions and intrigued by the mystery-- a lot of loose ends that could be better and questions that need to be answered which I'm hoping is covered in Bustafellows 2 >.< On the other hand, the romance is spot on <3 The game kept me hooked throughout, it's a 10/10 for me. Helvetic route took me aback quite a bit--it was a bit heavy with realism and depth. Shu and Limbo's routes were the cherry on the top for me. I loved the tragic angsty bad endings~ They did the characters justice .w. I just wish Adam had his own route...my heart aches for the tragedy </3
Mozu's sister deserved better too
Very engaging, very interesting game, I was desperate for more answers until the very end (╥﹏╥)

Amazing dialogue, amazing character development, love the storylines and the game's mechanic. I would say I wish I could save during choices, and that there was choice mappings. But other than that, perfect game. I think improved on the second game and will be planning on playing the sequel soon.

Overall, I enjoyed the experience of Bustafellows; this is a well-done game with endearing characters. I did like going through all the routes, which I don't always do in dating games. Scarecrow was my favourite route, as I felt it did a pretty accurate job of depicting PTSD. However, I felt like Bustafellows relied too much on telling, rather than showing, which weakened the emotional impact of a lot of scenes. Also, Teuta's ability to turn back time seemed pretty random in an otherwise non-supernatural story; I thought there would be more explanation for it, but there didn't seem to be. (It could be a meta-narrative device as the player can 'turn back time' in a visual novel, but it seemed like a convenient plot device more than anything.) Also, the last plot twist involving the mystery of Teuta's brother could've been more carefully written and hinted at earlier, I feel.

I bought this after playing the demo, but I refunded it shortly after. I purchased this game and started playing, only to load it up on the next day, exciting to continue, and had lost my save data. There's also lots of translation of dialogue that's missing (characters speaking in Japanese off-screen that don't get any subtitles), plus the UI elements are a pain to navigate. I was going to ignore some of these issues, but losing all my save data was the last straw. It's sad, because I think there was a lot of potential for fun here, but it's not worth the stress.
