Cursed Road Convoy

It's messy, and rough around the edges, but what you got here is a genuine passion project fueled by grit. If you're willing to put in the work and be a little patient, this game is tons of fun and oozes charm as long as you don't take it too seriously. I feel bad that I've waited this long to give it a review, but for what it's worth I've been coming back to this game for three years now and it's still as fun (and sometimes frustrating) as I remember. Where else you gonna strap a fireball trebuchet to a Lincoln?

This game is a real puzzle for me. The game has a lot of bugs, and I have to restart the game every 20 minutes, because some menu or car stuck. But the game is soo fun... At first, I thought this is a jank cash grab, but than there is so much effort in it, that it can't be. At the moment, I have 8 hours in this lovely jank fest, and I will play it more. It is gives very strong Car Wars vibes, and when the battles became bigger, there is a big strategy to it. I hope the developer will support this game and the game became more stable, because it has a strong gameplay core, with huge Funn factor. Before you by: - The game currently, is buggy as hell, but restarting the game is a snap. - The interface is very basic, no real options, and it can be super hard to get used to it. - No tutorial, if you do not have experiance with hex battle games, you will have issues. - The game is so much funn, for me at least. Do you like Mad Max? Do you like turn based strategy? Can you look past lovingly crafted jank? This may be a game for you. Despite some of the jank and opaque UI choices, this is an impressive game from a solo dev, with a lot of charm and attention to detail. It takes me back to 90's games in a lot of ways. I've gotten 10 bucks worth of joy out of it.

Not the most intiutive game to pick up and very much rough around the edges but quite simple once you've got the hang of it. Fun, challenging, rewarding with enough nuance to keep you thinking. Well worth the price tag.

The gameplay loop is pretty addicting. Once you figure out which cars have the most offensive slots, the fights get easier. Bikes are a trap for noobs, Murks and Interceptors all the way!

looking for a turn based game like the Battle Isle games or advanced wars? well then this one might be what you need to get you turn based fix in. its a pretty straight forward game moving from point A to B with multiple baddies in between. It can take a little bit to get used to the different weapons and movement but the developer has a video tutorial in the steam discussion section that can help with a lot of that beginner stuff. I think that this game could still use some tweaks here and there but that hasn't stop me from enjoying the game, i look forward to future polishing of the game but will continue to enjoy it as is until then.
