About Cargo Hunters
We have lost everything. Somehow we keep on moving.
Cargo Hunters is a third-person extraction PvE shooter in which you control a remote-controlled humanoid robot to scavenge resources on a decaying Earth.Collect and lose loot. Build your shelter. Face challenges. Battle enemies. Fall. Rise. Survive no matter how you define survival.A forgotten home.
After the global temperature rise, mankind faced the emergence of superviruses released from the melting Antarctic ice. Within a few years, they wiped out everything that moved, grew, or breathed. Those with wealth or power escaped the dying Earth, fleeing to \ during the 'Second Exodus' colonization program in \. Just before the first outbreak. Now they’re paying a ton of money to get their shiny, useless memorabilia back.Escape before it's too late.
It’s all about you and how you get the job done. Brute force, sneak, steal, craft, buy, find. Do what you will. But once you lose, you lose everything you’ve found. So think carefully. Equip pragmatically. Carrying capacity, weight, noise, condition—everything matters. The world’s dead. The loot isn’t.
You already have a human-shaped body. So wear human clothes or armor. Use their weapons. Add replaceable limbs. Dismember the fallen. Harvest their body parts. Recycle what’s unnecessary. That is the daily routine.Choose your weapons wisely.
A lot of firearms brings a lot of trouble (and fun). Different specs, ballistics, conditions, ammo types, modifications, and handling. So it’s up to you: what do you prefer? Blunt force, maybe? Huh.So welcome home, hunter.
Let’s begin our aimless, ever-changing, merciless journey together. This cruel no-man’s homeland awaits. But for whom? What Steam players say

Snoozefest, abysmal inventory space, one of the most egregious takes on an extraction shooter where you don't even have space for anything past 2 condoms1 found this helpful
Fantastic game, WAY too grindy and unforgiving, nearly all of my runs have been successful in bringing back, materials, supplys, ammo, etc. and yet after 12 HOURS I feel like I've barely made any progress, been using the same ka-74 I stole from a lucky kill since the beginning, and same shotgunner limbs I stole from a guy ages ago because building your own limbs takes an insurmountable amount of random BS. Great foundation of a game, but the devs need to remember the casual audience and the people who don't have hours and hours to sink into a mostly single-player game. TLDR; Fantastic, and fun base of a game, but needs a LOT of work and QOL improvements before I'll think about putting any more time into this game.1 found this helpful
Honestly, I know I'm still early game, but I really feel throttled on progress because the loot spawns are so erratic and making progress by making gear is so so slow. I've been collecting so much necessary crap for ammo and meds that I keep using that I am basically caught in a "barely floating above water" type of feeling with just trying to keep up with ammo and medical item costs. So I can not get more things to make the better armor that I'm looking forward for. I got lucky and found a larger med pack and I was able to finally make some progress but once that was used up then my progress was pretty much halted again. The loot needs a full re-balance at this point, it's just frustrating to play because of that alone and it's hard to judge the game for itself when trying to get off the ground is like trying to fly a plane carrier.
It's okay definitely early access but still fun and enjoyable so far certain items I feel only spawn once so grab everything then sort when you have excess
great game, promising for an early access
